The Bourbon royal palace designed by Luigi Vanvitelli, with its great park and fountains. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Charles of Bourbon commissioned Luigi Vanvitelli to design a royal palace capable of rivalling Versailles. The result is an enormous palace, with the grand staircase, the Palatine Chapel, the royal apartments and the court theatre.Behind the palace opens the park, with a long sequence of pools and fountains leading to the Great Waterfall and the English Garden. You need a whole day to see everything: in the park you can take a shuttle or hire a bicycle. Together with the Carolino Aqueduct and San Leucio, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
