The small theatre of the Royal Palace of Caserta, designed by Luigi Vanvitelli, with a backdrop that opened onto the park.
The Court Theatre was inaugurated in 1769 inside the Royal Palace of Caserta, to a design by Luigi Vanvitelli. It is a horseshoe-shaped hall with decorated boxes arranged on several tiers.The back of the stage could open onto the park, so the garden became part of the scene. It can be visited along the Royal Palace route, when it is open.
