Emperor Tiberius's villa on the western side of Capri, in Anacapri.
Villa Damecuta was one of Tiberius's residences on Capri and lies in Anacapri, above the island's western coast. The long panoramic portico and the living quarters survive.Next to the Roman remains stands a medieval tower. From the site the view sweeps across the Gulf of Naples as far as Ischia.
