Mesola Fort is one of the defensive posts built on the western coast of Capri at the beginning of the 19th century. It stands halfway along the Forts Trail (Sentiero dei Fortini), between Orrico Fort and Pino Fort.The path runs through Mediterranean scrub, with information panels about the plants and the military history of the coast. It is the wildest stretch of the island.
