The stone fort on the Forts Trail, overlooking the west coast of Capri.
Pino Fort stands on the western coast of Anacapri, along the Forts Trail (Sentiero dei Fortini). Like the other forts, it was built between 1806 and 1808, during the struggle between the British and the French for control of the island.From its walls the view opens onto the open sea and, on clear days, the islands of Ischia and Procida.
