A city complex housing the municipal library and the Art Museum, with works by Irpinian painters.

In Avellino, Villa Amendola is a place devoted to culture: the complex houses the municipal library named after Nunzia Festa, a landmark for the city's students and readers. We like it as a quiet space to stop and leaf through a book or discover the cultural events held here throughout the year.It is also home to the Art Museum, founded in 1995, with a picture gallery featuring works by artists such as Cesare Uva, Vincenzo Volpe and Alfonso Grassi. We suggest including the visit in a city itinerary, together with the historic centre and the places linked to the history of the Caracciolo princes.
