Avellino's Teatro Carlo Gesualdo, overlooking Piazza Castello, welcomes Sal Da Vinci on Saturday 7 November, one of the best-loved voices of today's Neapolitan song. The son of a singer, raised between the stage and the recording studio, he has moved through musicals, theatre and songwriting, building a very strong bond with audiences across southern Italy.

The Irpinian date is one of the new stops added to his live calendar across Campania, Apulia, Abruzzo, the Marche and Sardinia. We expect an evening mixing his best-known hits with more intimate songs, delivered with the theatrical vocal style that is his trademark. The concert starts at 9 pm.

Our tip: arrive a little early and stroll among the remains of the Lombard castle right next to the theatre, then have dinner in Avellino's old town.
