A public villa in Caserta in Art Nouveau style, built at the end of the 19th century by local craftsmen on Via Renella.

Among the lesser-known buildings of Caserta, we point out Villa Vitrone, on Via Fulvio Renella. It dates from the end of the 19th century and is listed among the properties protected by the Superintendency as an example of the Liberty (Art Nouveau) style, built by local craftsmen.Today the villa belongs to a public body. We like it as a testament to the city between the 19th and 20th centuries, when the floral taste reached provincial residences too. We recommend seeking it out on a walk off the beaten track, looking closely at its decorative details.
