In the centre of Padula, on the ground floor of an 18th-century house, there is a truly original museum, presented as the only one in the world devoted to genealogy. Born from a passion for one's roots, it guides visitors in discovering how a family's history is reconstructed: which tools to use, what to look for and where.You can consult reproductions of documents from civil, parish and notarial archives, in paper and digital form, with an internet station and a small library. We are moved by the exhibition of period photos and documents on emigration from Padula between the late 19th century and the post-Second World War period.
