Single-nave chapel from 1772 with a broken-pediment portal and a wooden panel of the Madonna of Constantinople.

The Chapel of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli was built in 1772, as the inscription on the portal records. It has a rectangular single-nave layout and is reached by climbing four steps up to the stone portal, crowned by a broken curved pediment.A large trefoil window opens in the façade, and at the top there is a small stone bell tower with its bell. Inside, on the altar in Padula stone, stands a wooden panel with the Madonna of Constantinople. We like to pause in front of this elegant, intimate façade during a walk through the town.
