Church of the Annunziata in Atripalda

  • Visit: about 20 min
  • 300 m

A church of ancient origin where, according to tradition, Bishop Sabino, patron saint of Atripalda, once officiated.

During work to strengthen the foundations of the church of the Annunziata, a Roman funerary stele was found, confirming its ancient origins. An old tradition says that Bishop Sabino, patron saint of Atripalda, officiated here between the late 5th and early 6th centuries. We like to visit it together with the other places linked to the saint.
