A church documented since 1113 and rebuilt by Luigi Vanvitelli between 1753 and 1775 on the orders of King Charles.

The Church of San Sebastiano Martire appears in a document as early as 1113. In 1753 King Charles of Bourbon entrusted its rebuilding to Luigi Vanvitelli, who completed the work in 1775, in the same years he was building the Royal Palace. The façade is sober, with a single entrance and two orders separated by a cornice. The single-hall interior is preceded by a pronaos, probably on the site of the older church's atrium. We recommend visiting it after the Royal Palace, to discover another side of Vanvitelli.
