Villa Favorita
- Visit: about 1 h

An 18th-century royal Vesuvian villa commissioned by Ferdinand IV, with a grand staircase onto a park that reaches the sea.
Villa Favorita in Ercolano is one of the most elegant 18th-century Vesuvian villas, linked to Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, who extended its park down to the sea and added stables and ballrooms. The two-storey façade with pilasters and piperno portals faces Corso Resina; at the back, a large semicircular staircase links the terrace to the park. We love the rooms decorated to the tastes of the various owners, including one in Moorish style.
