Ottati's only parish, holding a silver bust of the saint, a Renaissance portal and a fine 18th-century organ.

In the heart of Ottati, a village of the Alburni, the Church of San Biagio is the village's only parish and the community's focal point, which keeps a relic of the patron saint here. From the outside we are already struck by the Renaissance portal, a witness to the building's long history and the skill of local stonemasons.Inside, we suggest looking for the silver bust of St Blaise, the late 16th-century canvas of the Blood of the Redeemer, attributed to a Flemish artist, and the 18th-century organ by Silverio Carelli. We like combining the visit with a stroll through the lanes of the centre, where murals tell of the village's life and traditions.
