The fountain with the Roman marble block depicting the river god Sarno.

The Helvius fountain, also called the San Nicola fountain, is built around a Roman marble block. On its sides the river god Sarno is depicted in two forms, young and mature, linked to the river's source and mouth. It is still fed today by the ancient Roman aqueduct.
