Ducal Palace of Parete, born as a military tower and later a noble residence, a national monument that houses the Strawberry Museum.

On Via Basile in Parete stands the Ducal Palace, which began as a military tower and later became the noble residence of the families that succeeded one another in the fief, including the Caracciolo, Cossa and Moles. Originally it had five towers, demolished in the 17th century, and it has been a national monument since 1939.Restored around 2014–2015, today it is a meeting place for the community, hosting events and exhibitions. Inside we find the Strawberry Museum, opened in 2017 and dedicated to the signature product of the local countryside, and a contemporary art museum with works by artists such as Tommaso Cascella and Giampaolo Talani. We recommend visiting in spring, strawberry season.
