On a hill looking over the village of Sorbo Serpico stands the chapel of the Madonna della Neve, built in the 18th century. Its raised position makes it a small landmark in the landscape, and we like climbing up here for the view over the village and the surrounding hills.We suggest completing the visit in the village with the 17th-century parish church of the Santi Nomi di Gesù e Maria, which holds frescoes attributed to Francesco Solimena and Michele Ricciardi and a Baroque altar, and with the remains of the old castle on Monte Serpico, still visible among the vegetation.
