In the centre of Amorosi, the 18th-century parish church with its two-tone tuff bell tower and a small dome of yellow and green maiolica.

In the heart of Amorosi stands the parish church of San Michele Arcangelo, a landmark for the community. The façade dates from the 18th century and is marked by a single entrance doorway. Above all we love the three-tier bell tower, built in the same century in two-tone tuff, grey and yellow, which gives it an unmistakable look.Look up at the top of the tower: the small dome is covered in yellow and green maiolica tiles that shine in the sun. Inside, we suggest looking for the 18th- and 19th-century works, including the altarpiece of the Madonna of the Rosary and the canvas of Saint Michael defeating the devil. A short but pleasant stop on a stroll through the village.
