A Neoclassical chapel known as Santu Michilicchiu, which holds a rare 18th-century pipe organ on its wooden gallery.

Affectionately called Santu Michilicchiu by the people of Sala, this chapel was once the seat of a confraternity dedicated to the Archangel Michael. The façade rises on two tiers and is enhanced by a stone portal. We like discovering these intimate places in the historic centre, where popular devotion has left discreet but well-tended marks.Inside you will find a single nave with a raised apse and Neoclassical decoration: pilasters, stucco and cornices. We recommend, though, turning towards the entrance: on the wooden gallery above the door is an 18th-century pipe organ which, together with that of the Madonna del Monte, is a rare and precious example of historic instruments.
