Small 15th-century church in Roccaromana commissioned by the Marzano family, on a block of grey tuff, with a fresco of the Caiazzo school.

In Roccaromana, the small church dedicated to San Sebastiano was built in 1409 thanks to the Marzano family, lords of the area. It stands on a block of grey tuff, the typical stone of this corner of upper Caserta province, and retains the simple charm of late-medieval places of worship.Above all we like the 15th-century fresco of the Caiazzo school depicting the Madonna and Child between St Sebastian and St Roch, the two saints invoked against epidemics. We suggest combining the visit with the mother church of San Cataldo and the hamlet of Santa Croce.
