Side chapel of the parish church of Santa Maria dell'Agnena in Vitulazio, with a canvas and wooden statues dedicated to the archangels.

In Vitulazio, the Chapel of San Michele Arcangelo opens off the left side of the parish church of Santa Maria dell'Agnena, the 18th-century building that dominates the town from the slopes of Monte Tutuli. It is a small, intimate space, an integral part of the mother church.Inside, we like looking at a small canvas of the Archangel Michael and two wooden statues: one shows St Michael defeating Lucifer, the other the Archangel Raphael. We suggest visiting it together with the nave and apse of the parish church, rich in 19th-century paintings and works by Gaetano and Giacinto Gigante.
