18th-century residence of the bishops above the co-cathedral, with a courtyard, a stone portal and a covered corridor to the cathedral.

Climbing a little beyond Sarno's co-cathedral you come to the Bishop's Palace, built in the 18th century and the seat of the Curia until 1986. It is a natural stop for anyone visiting the Episcopio district who wants to complete the picture of the city's religious life.We recommend pausing at the carved stone portal that leads into a large courtyard. Along the road we are particularly intrigued by the long covered corridor that linked the bishops' residence to the cathedral: today it is closed and no longer used, but it remains a truly original architectural detail.
