A former Dominican convent from 1513, later a poorhouse and prison, now abandoned: its high walls and two historic portals remain.

The monastery of San Vincenzo Ferreri was founded in 1513 as an enclosed Dominican convent, at the wish of the town's feudal lord, Geronimo Tuttavilla. Suppressed by the French in the early 19th century, it became first a poorhouse and then a district prison; today it is abandoned and can be viewed from outside. We recommend following the high walls still visible between Via Abignente and Via San Domenico. On the latter opens a portal with the Dominican coat of arms and remains of pointed windows; the other entrance has a large portal with a 1620 inscription dedicated to Bishop Stefano Sole di Castelblanco and a lunette with faint traces of painting.
