The Cathedral of Sant'Andrea, with its grand staircase, mosaic façade and the Cloister of Paradise.
The Duomo dominates Amalfi's main square from the top of a great staircase. The polychrome façade, the bell tower with its majolica tiles and the bronze door cast in Constantinople tell of the ancient maritime republic's ties with the East.The relics of Saint Andrew rest in the crypt. From the cathedral you can visit the Cloister of Paradise, with its interlaced arches in Arab style.
