A chapel founded in 1704, with a vault decorated in Neapolitan-style stucco and frescoes and an altar by Giacomo Colombo.

As the inscription above the portal records, this small chapel was founded in 1704 by Abbot Felice Pandelli and, a few years later, passed to the Acciari family, from whom it takes its name. We like discovering these intimate corners of central Sala Consilina, where the history of local families intertwines with that of 18th-century sacred art.As you enter, we recommend looking up at the vault, decorated with stucco and frescoes that clearly show the influence of Neapolitan painting. The real jewel, though, is the altar, the work of the sculptor Giacomo Colombo, one of the best-known names in southern Italian sculpture of his time: it alone is worth the stop.
