Villa San Marco

One of the great Roman villas of Stabiae, overlooking the gulf, with peristyles and frescoes.
Villa San Marco was a luxurious residence on the Varano hill, in Castellammare di Stabia, buried by the eruption of AD 79. You can visit the bath quarter, the peristyles and the frescoed rooms.Together with Villa Arianna it is one of the villas of Stabiae, managed by the Pompeii Archaeological Park, and can be explored at leisure, away from the crowds.
