In the castle of Torella dei Lombardi, a selection of pottery and finds from the excavations of the fortress.

The Turella Parva Turris Civic Museum occupies several rooms of the castle of Torella dei Lombardi and was created to house finds from excavations carried out in the fortress between 1993 and 1997. Its name recalls the small tower from which the village grew. The visit links to a route through towers, rooms with graffiti and excavation areas.Five rooms display under-glaze painted pottery and 13th–14th-century proto-maiolica, later sgraffito wares, kitchenware and 17th-century plates bearing the Caracciolo coat of arms. We love the walkway over the old hanging garden, which offers a glimpse of the 10th-century defences. We suggest completing the visit by exploring the whole castle.
