Path of the Lemons from Maiori to Minori

Old footpath between Minori and Maiori, through terraces of Amalfi sfusato lemons and viewpoints over the sea.
Before the Amalfi Coast road was built, this path was the only way to walk from Minori to Maiori, the alternative being the boat. The route crosses one of the most important plantations of sfusato amalfitano, the typical lemon of the coast, famous for its shape, scent and flavour. It is part of the Lattari Mountains trail network, marked with the number 315.It takes about an hour on foot starting from Minori, among stairways, terraces and small hamlets. We really like the stop at the Mortella viewpoint, named after the myrtle plants: from there you can see Minori, the coast and the Basilica of Santa Trofimena. We recommend comfortable shoes and water.
