In the historic centre of Teggiano, next to the old convent of the Santissima Pietà, the Museum of Herbs with its garden, the viridarium, has been open since 1999.The route runs from the medieval apothecary to folk medicine, from herbs in the kitchen to woods used in crafts, and on to plants linked to magic. We like it because it speaks to everyone, from students to the merely curious: we suggest pairing it with a stroll through the village.
