A museum in the former convent of Santa Rosa, with sacred furnishings, 17th-century Neapolitan paintings and memories of the nuns of the sfogliatella.

The museum occupies the whole complex of the former convent of Santa Rosa, of Romanesque origin. In its rooms you find sacred furnishings, 17th-century Neapolitan-school paintings and a rare 17th-century bellows organ. We like the intimate atmosphere of this place overlooking the coast. Here are also kept memories of the nuns who, according to tradition, invented the famous sfogliatella in this very convent, in the version known as Santa Rosa. A small route through the old cells and restored parlours, with historical documents, is also being prepared. We recommend ending your visit by tasting the pastry that bears its name.
