Grotte dell'Acqua – Lake Fusaro

  • Visit: about 1 h 30 min

Ruins of an ancient Roman tuff building on Lake Fusaro, with an underground channel still visible.

On the shores of Lake Fusaro stand the ruins of an ancient Roman tuff building, known as the Grotte dell'Acqua ("Water Caves").The channel beneath is still visible. The site is being restored: we suggest combining it with a walk around the lake and the Casina Vanvitelliana.
