The Roman galleries carved into the tuff beneath a villa in Bacoli.

The Cento Camerelle ("Hundred Little Rooms") are a network of tunnels and chambers carved into the tuff beneath the remains of a Roman villa in Bacoli. The upper level was probably a large cistern. The popular name comes from the large number of passages and small rooms. Visits are by appointment.
