In the Baronial Castle of Acerra, the civic museum tells the ancient history of the area with some 700 finds, most of them from the Spinelli collection, discovered within the municipality.The display brings back to life the two ancient centres of this area: the Roman city of Acerrae and Etruscan Suessola. We suggest visiting it together with the castle, to take in centuries of the plain's history in one go.
