Three hunting lodges of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon in the countryside of Acerra; the central one was built in 1779.

In the countryside of Lanciolla, in Acerra, stand three royal hunting lodges of Ferdinand IV of Bourbon, lesser-known sisters of the Casina Spinelli at Calabricito. The sovereigns came here to hunt in the winter months: the central lodge was built in 1779, while the two smaller ones were the dining halls, one for the king and one for his retinue. The side lodges are now overgrown with vegetation and roofless, while the central one is better preserved: we are struck by the four rings in the ceiling that held a suspended bed, the fireplaces, the marble-patterned floor and the walls in Pompeian red. We recommend viewing them respectfully, from the outside.
