The mother church of Giano Vetusto, a 19th-century tuff building in Pozzillo, the starting point of the village's processions.

The Church of the Holy Apostles Philip and James is the mother church of Giano Vetusto and belongs to the diocese of Teano-Calvi. It stands in the hamlet of Pozzillo, next to the main square and the municipal gardens. The present building dates from the 19th century and is the work of local craftsmen, with tuff walls and a gabled roof. The interior is a single hall covered by a barrel vault. We like the role this church plays in village life: processions set out from and return here, such as that of the patronal feast and that of the pilgrimage linked to Monte Maggiore. We recommend looking inside for the statue of the Madonna delle Grazie, very dear to the community.
