A small single-nave chapel in Praiano, with a stucco statue of the Madonna of Constantinople above the entrance.

Among the sacred places of Praiano, on the Amalfi Coast, we find the Chapel of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli, documented as early as the 18th century as the seat of the confraternity of the Most Holy Rosary. It is a simple building, with a single barrel-vaulted nave, no apse, a small sacristy and a bell gable.Above the entrance, in a niche, the stucco statue of the Madonna of Constantinople welcomes us; on the high altar a canvas depicts the Virgin with Saints Roch and Sebastian against the backdrop of a devastated Constantinople. The chapel is often closed: we suggest admiring it from outside during a walk along the village's sacred paths.
