Single-nave church of the former cloistered monastery of Santa Maria della Pietà, built by 1520 at the end of the main street.

At the end of the main street, on the left bank of the Reginna, stands the old cloistered monastery of Santa Maria della Pietà, built by 1520 according to the will of the physician Luca Staibano. The nuns followed the rule of St Clare. The complex covered a very large area, and a trace of it remains in an 18th-century tower that marked one of its corners. The monastery was suppressed at the beginning of the 19th century. The church, now dedicated to Santa Maria di Costantinopoli, runs along the outer wall of the convent, near the old entrance portal, and has a single nave with a presbytery. We like its position on the way to the upper hamlets: we recommend a stop during your stroll along the main street.
