Mother church of Sanza, of very ancient origin, with three naves, a stuccoed ceiling and a 14th-century Crucifix.

The Church of Santa Maria Assunta, once Santa Maria Maggiore, was restructured and enlarged in 1577, as the architrave records, but its origins are much older. On the stone portal is a ceramic Assumption. Inside, the three naves have a ceiling rich in stucco with a copy of Titian's Assumption; on the high altar we are struck by a large 14th-century Crucifix.
