A civic museum devoted to the rebirth of Casamicciola after the 1883 earthquake, in the Bellavista municipal villa.

The museum tells the story of Casamicciola's rebirth after the earthquake of 28 July 1883, with period photographs, documents and old maps of the island. It is housed in the Bellavista municipal villa.It works closely with the Sentinella Geophysical Observatory, founded after that earthquake. We like it because it tells the story of Ischia's oldest tourist and spa resort: we recommend a visit to understand the island's history.
