Capuchin convent built between 1584 and 1588, with a cloister and cistern, a marble altar and the chapel of St Anthony.

This Capuchin convent was built between 1584 and 1588. The building is quadrangular, with the typical cistern for collecting water at the centre of the cloister. We like its simplicity, true to the spirit of the friars who lived here, and the peace you feel walking under the portico.Entering the church, you are struck by the elegant marble high altar, with a painting of the Holy Trinity, to which the church was originally dedicated. At the sides are the altars of St Felix of Cantalice, St Francis of Paola and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. We recommend not missing the chapel of St Anthony, decorated in oils and holding the statue of the saint.
