The Virtual Archaeological Museum is just a short walk from the Herculaneum excavations. With projections, 3D reconstructions and interactive installations, it brings Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Roman villas back to life as they were before the eruption.It is an excellent stop before or after the excavations, especially with children.
