A museum spread across the old houses of the medieval village, with the workshops of the cobbler, carpenter and blacksmith and over a thousand objects.
This is a truly unusual museum, because it winds through the houses of the medieval village of Cuccaro Vetere. The rooms are the very ones where the village craftsmen lived and worked, and they let you experience first-hand the daily life of the rural world. We really like this idea of a scattered museum.You enter the house of the cobbler, the carpenter, the blacksmith and other trades, all furnished with original furniture and tools. There are more than 1,200 objects on display, including an old 19th-century press and some wooden statues. We recommend arranging your visit in advance and enjoying the little streets of the centre.
