Santa Croce Beach

A secluded beach on the Amalfi Coast, now reachable only by sea, with the remains of an old chapel.

Just past Duoglio opens Santa Croce beach, one of the most secluded and quiet corners of the Amalfi Coast. We like its tucked-away atmosphere, far from the bustle of central Amalfi, with the rock enclosing the little cove.In a natural hollow near the shore you can still see the remains of the chapel that gave the place its name. Bear in mind that a landslide has made the footpath impassable: today the beach can only be reached by sea, for example by boat from the port of Amalfi.
