Stone collection with bishops' coats of arms, columns, capitals and Oscan and Latin inscriptions, together with ceramic and metal finds.

This museum on Piazza De Sanctis mainly holds stone finds of every kind: bishops' coats of arms, architectural elements carved from a single block of granite or Irpinian breccia, column bases and capitals that tell of Lacedonia's important past.We are particularly fascinated by the slabs with Oscan and Latin inscriptions, evidence of the ancient peoples who lived in this corner of Irpinia. The collection is completed by ceramic and metal finds: we recommend combining the visit with a stroll through the historic centre.
