Multimedia museum in a 1930s farmhouse telling the story of the sanctuary of Hera at the mouth of the Sele.
Near the remains of the sanctuary of Hera Argiva at the mouth of the Sele, a 1930s farmhouse has been turned into a museum devoted to the goddess's temple. Here you can better understand a place of worship that, on the ground, can today be read only in part.The tour blends traditional displays with video installations and interactive virtual reconstructions, and is built like a story that accompanies the visitor. At the moment the museum appears to be closed, but we think it is the ideal complement to a visit to the archaeological area: we recommend checking on its reopening before you go.
