The museum was founded in 1993 inside the Royal Bourbon Boarding School (Real Convitto Borbonico) of Santa Maria delle Grazie, thanks above all to the many townspeople who donated objects handed down from previous generations. We like this collective origin, which makes it a true archive of local memory.As an ethno-anthropological museum, it mainly holds farm tools and objects linked to work in the fields and rural life, at the roots of the town's history. It is not just an exhibition but a living place, where part of the town's social life takes place. We recommend requesting a visit in advance, as it opens by request.
