A collection of tools, photos and memorabilia telling the story of the farming, craft and seafaring trades of the Amalfi Coast.

Along Via delle Cartiere, this small museum was born from the passion of a family who have grown the Amalfi lemon, the sfusato amalfitano, for five generations. Over about thirty years of research they have gathered objects, paintings, photographs and memories of past work. The collection tells the arts and trades of the Coast's farmers and craftsmen, tied to the land, the sea and daily life: it ranges from a 17th-century press to a modern loom. We recommend a visit if you want to understand how people lived and worked on the terraces, before the Coast became a tourist destination.
