Small ethnographic museum founded in 1988 with objects donated by local families, from a working loom to farm tools.

Near the church of Santa Barbara, in a municipal building, the Museum of Rural Arts and Life of Teggiano has been housed since 1988. It has grown year after year thanks to donations from local families, who have entrusted the museum with the objects of everyday life of the past.We like the fact that many pieces are still alive: there is an old working loom with cloth in progress, next to tools for hemp, spinning wheels, ploughs, oil lamps and implements for reaping and threshing. We also recommend pausing at the wrought-iron bed, the grain chest and the old photographs portraying the town's farmers and gentry.
