Garden of Villa Ricciardi in Cava de' Tirreni

This park climbs from the road up to the villa along a theatrical route. You enter through an imposing iron gate, from which a side ramp in exposed brick and a wide central terracotta staircase set off together, flanked by beaten-earth paths that wind into the greenery. We particularly like this interweaving of different routes.Where the ramp crosses the footpath, an elliptical staircase with a fountain at its centre opens up, leading to the level of the villa. There you will find a charming well in marble and terracotta, terracotta pots, columns and statues. We also recommend looking out over the valley: the garden blends very harmoniously into the landscape.
