Isolated small church in the Longhi district of Sant'Arcangelo, already standing in 1092 when it was donated to the Badia di Cava.

In the Longhi district of the hamlet of Sant'Arcangelo stands, on its own, the small church of San Bartolomeo. We do not know when it was founded, but it already existed in 1092: in that year Gregorio, lord of Capaccio and son of Prince Guaimar, donated it to the abbot of the Badia di Cava. Its delicate façade is Neoclassical and faces directly onto the street. The interior is a simple rectangular hall: we like it as a sign of the long history of Cava's hamlets.
